We would like to thank you all for your well wishes.

Fortunately, we are all getting better and on the mend.

Just a few notices before we resume on Monday 15th.

Staff resumption

All members of staff who contracted the virus are on the mend and doing well. Some still need time to recuperate and will be returning to work later. We want to re-assure you, all staff will be fit and will be completely free of the virus by re-testing before returning to work.

Deep cleaning the nursery

We have deep-cleaned the nursery, all our resources and the environment. We will continue to do so.

Drop-offs and Pick-ups

  • We will only be using the garden door entrance for drop-off and pick-ups for ventilation reasons.
  • We cannot have discussions at the door please. It means other parents would be waiting to pick their children up. You can phone, email or, better still, use Tapestry to communicate.
  • Parents should continue to wear their masks to the setting and keep a distance from staff, except when handing over their babies
  • If you or your child has any symptoms, please do not attend the nursery. Our first case at the nursery presented as a common cold.

Half term

We are well aware that the week of the 15th is the half term and funded children will not be attending the setting. We wanted to have them in any way. But as a few of our staff still need time off to recover, we cannot have them in because of ratios. To make up for your child’s time away, we will provide an extra fun week over the summer term. Hopefully, things will be much better by then.

Questionnaire

Over the next few weeks, we will send you a questionnaire with just two questions to help us continue to evaluate our practice. Your time to fill this will be appreciated.

If you have any queries, please email [email protected]. We usually respond quickly.

Something fun to do in the Half Term

As you take the time to enjoy the outdoors, let your child tick the list as they find these items in the table below. They can also make a book with a drawing of their finds or keep their finds in a box and show us when we resume.

Enjoy!
